What Homeschool Look Like To Me

Friday Funday- Farm Visit

This week we had a great turn out for the Farm Visit. We were joined by about 6 other families. We were able to go tour a little farm just outside of town. We were able to pet the animals, and they even gave the kids a pony ride.

Mr. G caught chickens for all the kids to  hold.

Building Kits

Mr. W has been working really hard on a reading program that is very intense. As an incentive for completing the first 10 Week section, he earned a HELICOPTER building kit.

The kit had really nuts and bolts, and was made with metal parts. The instructions were not the best, but Mr. W, was able to figure out how it all went together.

I love seeing the look of SUCCESS in his eyes.

Baseball Season

Mr. W is playing BASEBALL this year, and as you can see it is bitter sweet. There have been some bumps along the way, but some really good time too.

FAMILY

FAMILY
One of the things that is so great about HOME School is that I feel it strengthens my family. My kids are each others friends, and we have time to be together.

We build deep and loving family relationships by doing simple things together, like family dinner and family home evening and by just having fun together. In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time. Taking time for each other is the key for harmony at home. We talk with, rather than about, each other. We learn from each other, and we appreciate our differences as well as our commonalities. We establish a divine bond with each other as we approach God together through family prayer, gospel study, and Sunday worship.”
